The name "Dear Honey" came from wanting to make art that felt like a love letter. It took a while to land on a style that felt right, but eventually my art evolved into sweet whimsical illustrations that reflect my community in ways that I feel are pretty darling (if I do say so myself!) From relatable drawings about feeling crazy in today's world, to dear paintings of my friends' cats and cozy home creatures, I never want to stray away from the comfort and familiarity my community inspires in my art. In some ways it still feels like a little love letter.
